CTPs coming along
I worked on CTPs this weekend. I’ve lined up two sets of Atlanta Braves tickets. One set is 5 tickets with free parking for the game Saturday, September 5th against the Reds. The tickets are in the right field seats. They also include admittance to the 755 Club. That’s the indoor restaurant/bar in left field. If it is hot, you can enjoy the game from air-conditioned accommodations.
The next set of tickets is four tickets for the Saturday, October 3rd game against the Washington Nationals. These tickets are located on the first base line. I’ve sat in these seats before…they’re great seats. These tickets also include admittance to the 755 Club.
The Braves Tickets will be part of a entire field CTPs in the Tough Shot round and the Alternate Shot round. In the Tough Shot round, it will be whomever is closest for the shot taken or chosen by the team your playing with. In other words, if you base the pin but your partner whacks a tree right off the tee, your not likely to win the CTP.
There will be a CTP for each division in the final round. I’m still working on CTPs for the opening round of the tournament.
If your club has some discs or t-shirts or other items available for CTPs, I’ll try to give back to your event/club over the course of the next year. The SC Doubles Championship has helped with CTPs of six or seven events over the past year.
A reminder…our sponsors to date are the City of Seneca; Seneca Light & Water; Oconee County Parks, Recreation & Tourism; WSNW Radio Station; NAPA - Anderson Auto Parts; and Greater Oconee Disc Golf.I want to thank the Upstate Club; Atlanta Area Disc Golf; Toccoa Disc Golf; Charlotte Disc Golf; Charleston Disc Golf and SCDGO for posting this tournament on their websites and helping promote the event.
